Jeff graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1985 and was called to the bar in 1987.  He has practiced exclusively in the field of criminal law since that time.  Jeff began his practice in Toronto as an associate of, and later partner with, Leo Adler.  After Adler Schroeder disbanded in 1994, Jeff continued in sole practice for nine years until Webber Schroeder – now Webber Schroeder Goldstein Abergel – was formed in 2004.

Jeff taught for seven years at the Osgoode Hall, Summer Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop and has chaired panels and presented papers at educational conferences offered by the Criminal Lawyers’ Association, The Law Society of Upper Canada and the Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa.

Starting early in his career, Jeff has successfully defended numerous people charged with murder and appears at all levels of court.
