Mark Rieger

Mark was called to the Ontario bar in June 2012 after articling with Webber Schroeder Goldstein Abergel.  He is a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and the University of King's College. While a law student Mark worked at U of T's legal clinic as a criminal law case worker and represented clients facing criminal charges in courts across Toronto. Mark was also on the team that won the 2010 Arnup Cup, an annual trial advocacy competition between Ontario law schools.

Mark practices exclusively in criminal law. He has represented clients charged with assault, drug offences, fraud, and theft, among other offences, and has assisted clients in Youth Court, the Mental Health Court, and Drug Treatment Court. Mark has also assisted the firm's partners in a number of serious cases.

Mark is a member of the Criminal Lawyers' Association, the Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa and the County of Carleton Law Association.

Mark is happy to serve his clients in both English and French.
